Playtopia 2024

Playtopia is Africa’s first annual destination Indie Games & Immersive Arts festival and summit. The main attraction is the arcade where visitors can spend hours playing the latest indie gems from Africa and around the world. It is a gathering of African and global creators and players, where we celebrate the local “scene” as well as Indie Planet games brought to our festival from other major indie festivals around the world, here players can experience the best in show games curated by these festivals to be on exhibit at Playtopia. We have the honour of welcoming back Bitsummit from Japan, A.Maze from Germany and welcome new comers Now Play This from the UK.
